I'm a former art teacher turned graphic designer. I come from a background of DIY punk rock mentality, art shows, Guerrilla marketing, and community collectives, but with a legit degree in how to gather people, educate, and motivate them.
As a mulit-passionate, ADHD, Gen X (by the skin of my teeth) lady I noticed that folks like me "hated" networking because it felt transactional and sleazy. But what you might be throwing out with networking is the chance to grow your business with a solid community to support you.
So I built The Playhouse... a space where we share what we know with each other, hire each other, celebrate together, hold each other accountable, and collaborate to reach new audiences. We can all grow faster together than we ever could alone.
