I dreamed up this community because I'm so over the constant pressure to grow, create, and hustle. I'm guessing you started your business for a sense of freedom, but somewhere along the way, you got bogged down by all the chatter about scaling, automations, funnels, and fancy business stuff. Everything moves so fast we forget to check in with ourselves and ask ourselves what we actually want.

And can we talk about all the advice out there? MY GAWD. Everyone’s showing up and sharing their knowledge (like we were taught) but those platforms feel so one sided and flat for both the creator and the consumer. I don't know about you, but I'd love to have more conversations not more content consumption.

Not to mention that when you’re new, all this advice is coming at you from every direction and most of it contradicts itself! All you really need to do is decide what you're gonna do for folks, tell them about it, and get paid for it. That’s it.

Overconsuming content can end up stealing your money, time, and creativity. As an artist myself I know for a fact that when you rely too heavily on others for direction, it dims own voice and confidence. I want you to get your spark back. (See what I did there? 😉)

I want you to know it can be so much simpler. 

You don’t need to be cranking out content 24/7.

You don’t need to be on every platform.

And you definitely don’t need some outsider telling you how much money you should want to make.

You get to decide how much money you want to make and go after it with all your heart. No more chasing anyone else’s definition of success.

That’s why I built The Playhouse! To make it way easier for freelancers to connect with real people in real ways. No more hiding behind your computer working in a vacuum. No more feeling like you’re behind because you’re not posting on every platform or scaling your business to the moon. You don’t need to build an empire to be successful, unless you want to. Then I’m here for that too.
